Bae-hamas

When I say I love going to the Bahamas, it is not for fake! Bahamas is bae, Bae-hamas. I've been to Nassau twice, once in 2011 and then again in 2018. Both times were by way of a cruise. Upon porting, I would alway gaze in amazement at the massive edifice that is the Atlantis Bahamas Resort, majestically set in the background of the capital city.

Well this past October, I was able to stay at the Atlantis, all expenses paid for 5 days and 4 nights with my church praise team Faith City Music.

Along with enjoying all of the amenities of the resort, FCM music recorded a worship set at our Pastors' Dr. Mike and Dr. Dee Dee Freeman's, Bahamian estate.

I had such and amazing time and could not stop smiling the entire trip!

Check out some of my favorite looks of my Bahamian adventure.

Our first night at the Atlantis, we had dinner at Frankie Gone Bananas, a casual dinning spot. I kept it cute with an orange striped top and orange gingham skirt. Both pieces were from the clearance section of eloquii.com. I paired my ensemble with gold "Iggy" Circus by Sam Edelman slides from Belk.com.

Seafire Steak House, is where we had our dinner on night two. The food was amazing. I wore a white oversize, puff sleeve button down from Ashley Stewarts with black sequin shorts from Asos Curve and my red Gucci rubber slides that I got from Vestiaire (for a fraction of the retail cost) and my red Gucci Soho bag.

The highlight of our trip was recording a worship set at Dr. Mike and Dr. Deedee’s waterfront oasis complete with a traditional Bahamian Junkanoo band. The Freeman’s not only providing the location and ambience for our praise in paradise, but they graciously provided a delectable dinner spread.

The evening's wardrobe theme was monochromatic jewel tones. I wore head to toe ruby. My crimson off-shoulder top and ruffle pants are Eloquii pieces. I completed my look by wearing the red Gucci slides.

Our finial night at the fabulous Atlantis, concluded with an Asian infused fine dinning experienced at the acclaimed Pan-Asian restaurant Chop Stix. The food was great but the company was even better. So many laughs as with enjoyed our last night together on Paradise Island.

My dinner look consisted of a black with white polk-a-dot voluminous maxi dress from Asos Curve and yes, my red Gucci slides.

This was indeed an experience of a lifetime filled with good people, good music, good food, and good fashion!
